Paris has always had a fondness for the science and art behind fermentation. As a home beer brewer, thoughts of owning and running a microbrewery would occur frequently. However the realities of a steady paying job and career would always be forefront in his mind.
About 9 years ago a job transfer moved the Georgallis' to London, U.K. Paris' wife, Kamini, slowly introduced him to various wines from around the world and the bug took hold. Of particular fascination was the left bank bordeaux which is predominantly cabernet sauvignon based.
Paris thought it was time to start expanding horizons from lagers, ales and bitters to wine.
On his return from the U.K. Paris and his family relocated to Northern California where his fondness for wine continued to mature and grow.
Living near some of the world's great wine growing regions: Napa, Sonoma and Livermore Valleys, the fascination and appreciation for great wines really took hold. Slowly the dream of creating great handcrafted artisan wines became reality with the launch of our Kissos 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
